The Mid-town Mural

The Mid-Town Mural was completed in the Fall of 2006 through a partnership between Art on the Edge and Anchor House.

Local mural artist, Jan Wilhelmi, worked with the youth at Anchor House to design and paint this musical work of public art.   The process of making community art strengthens and engages our community.  This was especially true for the Mid-Town Mural, which worked with youth from a residential facility.

This project was made possible through the vision and endless energy of Kendall Lewis, our program coordinator

The Mid-town Mural is located on the corner of 4th Street and Roosevelt on the side of the Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Store.
